Set within the 450 acre Lower Mill Estate private nature reserve, which is made up of seven lakes, meadows, woodland and three meandering rivers, Mill Village is a nature lover’s paradise. Its location within the heart of the Estate means that you’ll enjoy a wonderfully tranquil setting and an abundance of wildlife.

Modelled on the style of local villages, the honey coloured, Cotswold stone properties nestle around the lakes, small rivers and streams. You can choose from a number of different property styles made up of two, three or four bedrooms.

All of the cottages have a light and airy feel and benefit from modern quality in their design, layout and appliances but are styled on a traditional ‘cottagey’ feel. Many offer wood burning stoves, shaker style kitchens and wooden floors throughout the ground floor. Some of our properties offer master bedrooms with French doors that open out onto a balcony or a floor to ceiling picture window. Open plan living areas with French doors that lead out onto your own private deck are also standard.

Mill Village provides an excellent location for a family holiday. The village sits within the 450 acre Lower Mill Estate private nature reserve. A wide variety of activities are provided within the village itself, but you are also free to go off and explore every aspect of nature that the Estate has to offer. The Estate’s eco team work hard to maintain the Estate and encourage wildlife habits, as a result you can normally see deer first thing in the morning, if you are lucky you may glimpse otters in one of the many streams, rivers and lakes or hear nightingales and owls in the evening.
