Water sports are in abundance on the lakes surrounding Waters edge. Cable ski and sailing are available on the lakes next to Waters edge. For golfers a driving range and course is available in South Cerney (next village), a nine hole course is also available at Oaksey (4 miles).

The village of South Cerney and Cerney Wick are located within walking distance both of which offer a number of amenities including several traditional pubs.
