I think a little bit of everything would sum my role up nicely. I have worked for Orion Holidays for 20 years and have done every job there is and still enjoy poking my nose in everything. I am now the general manager and assist Mark in running and overseeing the business I do take my job seriously as holidays are so important to us all and I want our guests to have a good time. I also take pride in looking after our owner’s houses so I do think of myself as a caretaker as well.
What’s your favourite thing in the Cotswolds?
It has to be all the beautiful walks, parks and villages. I particularly love Burford, my family are from near Burford and I always love going back there. Bibury and Bourton on the water are not far behind -they never disappoint. When we are selling our holidays it’s a huge advantage to say we are in the Cotswolds, which is so central and easy to reach from other parts of the country.
What’s at the top of your bucket list?
I would love to travel to more places especially Italy and New York and of course get fit!
