Fishing Holidays in and Around the Cotswolds

Perfect for a fishing break or family holiday with a keen angler
The Cotswold Lakes are well known for their extensive fishing opportunities. From expert to novice fisherman (or fisherwoman) there is something for everyone set in stunning natural surroundings. The lakes are suitable for both course and fly fishing and feature carp, pike, tench, bream and trout.
You are welcome to bring your own tackle if you wish, but don’t worry if you don’t have any to hand as there is a conveniently located tackle shop in the area.
With many of the holiday cottage developments being based around lakes, fishing is generally available either from your doorstep or certainly not far away. There are also a number of specialist fishing lakes close by if you wish to challenge yourself more for which day tickets are available.
So whether you are an avid angler looking for a quiet and relaxing break with just the wildlife for company, or simply looking for somewhere to show the children how to get started, you will have plenty of choice close by. And with so many other activities near by if some of your party aren’t keen anglers then don’t worry, as they will have plenty to do on their holiday, whilst you sit on the lakeshore.
