What to Expect at Spring Lake
There are two choices of accommodation available at Spring Lake.
Our 3 bedroom lakeside holiday cottages are individually decorated and furnished. To make the most of their position, the master bedrooms have a full-length window overlooking the lake, so that you can wake up to a truly spectacular view.
In the living area, French doors open out onto your own private deck (approx 15ft x 11ft), with either steps down to the water’s edge, or overhanging the lake. The deck provides the perfect spot for alfresco dining or to sit back and enjoy lakeside life.
The 4 bedroom deluxe lakeside holiday cottages occupy the tail end of the lake, with unrivalled views and almost complete privacy. Benefitting from a spacious, open plan living/kitchen/dining area with a focus on the breath taking view of the lake. This luxury lakeside holiday cottage is excellent for group holiday bookings, family gatherings, reunions or simply a large break with friends.
The onsite Lakeside Brasserie is a fully licensed bar and has an extensive menu featuring locally sourced produce and offers lakeside BBQs on the sun deck during the summer months.
Lakeside is also a very popular venue for watching sports and screens all major sporting events. The bar shows live games from Sky and BT Sport on the 3 indoor screens and there is also an outdoor screen on the sun terrace. They also run their own calendar of entertainment events, regularly showcasing an eclectic selection of local musical talent.
The fully air conditioned gym is located above the brasserie with a range of equipment. There is also a children’s play area at the front of the brasserie, set back from the road and enclosed by greenery to keep the younger members of the family occupied.
Spring Lake is one of the quieter, private lakes, making it a superb and safe location for family holidays.
These lakeside holiday cottages are in prime position in the Cotswold Lakes. Spring Lake is a mere 15 minute drive from Cirencester, the self proclaimed ‘capital of the Cotswolds’.
The site is also within walking distance to the local village of South Cerney which offers a number of local amenities including a selection of pubs, takeways, village shops, post office and a hair dressers.
Located on the other side of the Spine Road, a 10 minute walk from Spring Lake, is Spa 6, one of the premier spas in the Cotswolds, located within the De Vere Cotswold Hotel.
Treatments include: Volcanic Hot Stone Back Massage, “Indian Sandalwood” Soothing Scalp Massage and “Exotic Orange Blossom Ritual” Face and Body Treatment.
Lakeside has something for everyone from professional to beginner. Wake board and water ski sessions and courses can be purchased and tailored to your needs. For the thrill seekers among us why not try one of the fun inflatable rides? The Ringos, Stingray, UFO or the Banana await; holding on is strongly advised!
The experienced team at Lakeside is made of up excellent coaches and drivers to ensure you have the best and the safest experience. Prices include wetsuit and buoyancy aid hire and use of the changing and shower facilities.
Due to it’s location, Lakeside offers the perfect family lakeside watersports holiday: Mum can relax with a glass of wine and a book on the private deck, Dad can chill out in the bar with a pint and the game on one of the big screens and the kids will most likely be found on, (or perhaps off) – the ringos!
The water sports season is from March to end October with advance bookings taken from February. Please note that opening times will vary and some facilities may close for extended periods with no notice, therefore, if your stay is planned around a specific activity or facility, please ensure you check with the provider before booking.
If you are attending in peak season we strongly advise that you book water based activities prior to, or at the beginning of, your stay.
